What is an Intimacy Coordinator?

An intimacy coordinator is a trained professional who ensures that scenes involving intimacy, nudity, or simulated sex are handled safely, consensually, and professionally. They collaborate with performers and directors to establish clear boundaries, create choreography that respects comfort levels, and maintain an environment where everyone feels supported.

At Black on Black Love, we are proud to have two experienced intimacy coordinators on our team. Giana and Goldie work with directors and performers to design scenes in a way that’s both authentic and respectful, while also putting in place safeguards so no one feels pressured, exploited, or blindsided.
